About the integration
Section titled “About the integration”The EmailShepherd and Anthropic integration lets you connect your Anthropic API key to EmailShepherd so you can use Anthropic models to power your EmailShepherd AI Agents.
Usage is billed directly by Anthropic on the account you connect, and doesn’t draw from your EmailShepherd AI credits.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- An Anthropic account with billing enabled and an API key
- The
manage_app_configurationpermission in EmailShepherd (Admins have this by default)
- In EmailShepherd, navigate to Organization Settings > AI Provider
- Enable Use a custom AI provider
- Select Anthropic as the provider
- Paste your API key
- Choose the model to use for each supported action
- Save
