About the integration
Section titled “About the integration”The EmailShepherd and Google Gemini integration lets you connect your Gemini API key to EmailShepherd so you can use Gemini models to power your EmailShepherd AI Agents.
Usage is billed directly by Google on the account you connect, and doesn’t draw from your EmailShepherd AI credits.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- A Google account with access to Gemini and an API key
- The
manage_app_configurationpermission in EmailShepherd (Admins have this by default)
- In EmailShepherd, navigate to Organization Settings > AI Provider
- Enable Use a custom AI provider
- Select Gemini as the provider
- Paste your API key
- Choose the model to use for each supported action
- Save
