Workspaces

This article shows you how to create a workspace, manage who can access it, and edit or delete it.

Workspaces keep groups of resources separate. Each workspace has its own teams, projects, Email Design Systems, personalization tags, images, connectors and other resources. To decide whether you need more than one workspace, see Workspaces, teams and projects.

  1. In the top-left of the sidebar, click your organization’s name, then select Organization settings.
  2. Select the Workspaces tab.
  3. Click Add Workspace.
  4. In Name, enter a name for the workspace, such as the brand or region it’s for.
  5. Turn on Auto Join if everyone you invite to your organization should be added to this workspace automatically.
  6. Click Create Workspace.

Next, add members to the workspace, then create teams in it.

  1. In Organization settings, select the Workspaces tab.
  2. Beside the workspace, click Manage.
  3. Under Members, click Add Member.
  4. In User, select the user, then click Add Member.

Being a member of a workspace doesn’t show the user any projects on its own. Add them to a team in the workspace as well.

To add someone who isn’t in your organization yet, invite them and choose the workspace when you invite them.

  1. In Organization settings, select the Workspaces tab.
  2. Beside the workspace, click Manage.
  3. Under Members, click the remove icon beside the user.
  4. Confirm that you want to remove them.

The user can no longer access the workspace, unless they have the Access All Workspaces permission.

If you’re a member of more than one workspace, click your organization’s name in the top-left of the sidebar, then select a workspace under Switch workspace.

  1. In Organization settings, select the Workspaces tab.
  2. Beside the workspace, click Manage.
  3. Change the Name or Auto Join setting.
  4. Click Update Workspace.
  1. In Organization settings, select the Workspaces tab.
  2. Beside the workspace, click Manage.
  3. Under Delete Workspace, click Delete Workspace.
  4. Read the warning, then click I have read and understand these effects.
  5. Type the workspace’s name to confirm, then click Delete Workspace.
